Why must the heart feel this pain?
Why in this path must I feel so hurt?
Why do I feel so close and yet so distanced?
Must I convince myself to go on without you?

Without you its not that I feel unhappy
And yet this life does not feel alive
Oh, this distance still between us
It smiles and it shatters me everyday

Maybe I had lost you while you were close
I cry for my heart as it cries for you
For all these dreams I saw in the day
May you always smile, I shall pray

On this journey I shall travel distant lands
An unarmed, lost, parched, wanderer
On days and nights of his lonesome quest
This heart still waiting for a moments rest.
